Tonight’s GOP debate started out with the candidates dancing around how much they did and didn’t support President Bush’s Iraq strategy - all of course except Texas Rep. Ron Paul who’s alone in his opposition.
But it quickly got personal between former Govs. Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee.
“Governor, don’t try and chracterize my position,” Romney said to Huckabee.
“Which one,” Huckabee said, obviously referring to a key criticism of Romney, that he’s changed his positions from when he was governor of Massachusetts.
Romney was speechless - for just a second.
“Don’t make personal attacks,” a recovered Romnney said.

Id love to see Romney and Huckabee in an old fashioned Licoln Douglas debate. Think old Huck might win that one.
